How to Choose the Right Samosa Sheet Size
Compare 3 × 8, 3 × 10, 4 × 10, 7 × 14 and 10 × 13 inch samosa sheets and learn what to check before ordering for your kitchen.

Why sheet dimensions matter
The sheet determines how much material is available for forming the cone, overlapping the seam and closing the top. A size that works well for one folding style may feel too narrow or leave too much pastry with another. Filling texture and portion size also affect the result.
That is why dimensions should be treated as a starting point rather than a promise of one exact finished samosa size. Two kitchens can use the same sheet and produce different results because their folds, filling portions and sealing methods are different.
The five available sizes
SamosaSheet currently lists five rectangular formats. The narrower 3-inch and 4-inch formats are useful starting points when you want a compact fold, while the wider formats provide more pastry for larger portions or different production methods.
- 3 × 8 inches
- 3 × 10 inches
- 4 × 10 inches
- 7 × 14 inches
- 10 × 13 inches
How to test a size in your kitchen
Prepare the filling exactly as you normally would and let it cool. Fold several sheets using the same portion in each one. Check whether the cone closes without stretching, whether the overlap seals securely and whether the finished shape stays consistent during cooking.
Record the filling weight and finished yield instead of judging only by appearance. A repeatable test makes it easier to train staff, calculate daily requirements and compare another sheet size fairly.
- Check that the filling leaves enough clean pastry for sealing.
- Look for excess overlap that could create a thick or uneven bite.
- Cook a small batch and check for opening, tearing or filling leakage.
- Confirm that the result suits your serving portion and packaging.
Planning the order
Each listed pack contains 100 sheets, and the minimum order is five packs. As a working estimate, one intact sheet generally produces one samosa, but your actual yield depends on handling and preparation. Build your purchasing plan from your own test-batch yield.
When requesting a quote, include the dimension, number of packs, delivery address and required date. The team can then confirm current availability, pricing and transportation before the order is final.
