Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about samosa sheet sizes, storage, ordering and bulk supply.

What is a samosa sheet?
A samosa sheet is a thin, ready-made pastry sheet used to wrap samosa filling, so you do not have to knead, rest and roll dough yourself. It is also sold as samosa patti or a samosa wrapper. You thaw the sheets, fold one into a cone, add your filling, seal the edge and cook.
Are samosa sheets the same as samosa patti or samosa wrappers?
Yes. Samosa patti and samosa wrappers are common names for the same ready-made sheets used to wrap samosa fillings. Patti usually refers to the long strip style and sheet to the square or rectangular style, but both do the same job. Choose a size to suit the samosas you want to prepare.
What ingredients go into a samosa?
A samosa has two parts: the outer sheet and the filling. The sheet is a thin wheat-flour pastry — that is the part we supply ready-made, so you do not need to mix flour, oil, salt and water or rest a dough. The most common filling is spiced potato with green peas, onion, ginger, green chilli, turmeric, garam masala, coriander leaves and salt; paneer, mixed vegetable, minced meat and sweet fillings are also used. The exact ingredient and allergen declaration for the sheets is printed on the pack you receive.
What tools or equipment do I need to make samosas?
With ready-made samosa sheets you need very little equipment: a pan to cook the filling, a bowl, a small bowl of flour-and-water paste to seal the edge, and a deep pan, kadai or air fryer to cook. You do not need a rolling pin, dough board, pastry cutter or dough press, because the sheets are already rolled to an even thickness. A slotted spoon and a paper-lined tray help drain the cooked samosas.
What sizes of samosa sheets are available?
Our range includes small 5 × 5 inch, medium 7 × 7 inch and large 8 × 8 inch samosa sheets, with 100 sheets per pack. Small suits mini tea-time samosas, medium suits everyday home and restaurant service, and large suits generous fillings and commercial batches. Confirm availability when placing your order.
How much do samosa sheets cost?
Pricing depends on the sheet size, the number of packs and the delivery location, so we quote current rates on enquiry rather than publishing a fixed price list. Send us the size, quantity and your delivery area on WhatsApp and we will confirm the price, availability and delivery details.
